The Killers (USA) - rock

The Killers, one of the world's most popular rock bands, will visit Ljubljana as part of their European tour promoting their third album, Day & Age. The first single from the album, Human, is currently riding high in music charts across the world.

The band, based in Las Vegas and active since 2002, stand out for their British-tinged style, untypical of American artists, and an idiosyncratic approach which sets them apart from other bands of the kind.

The Killers achieved stardom with their very first album, Hot Fuss. Their second album, Sam's Town, released in 2006, has sold as many as 4.4 million copies to date. In recent years, they produced a number of worldwide hits, the most notable being Somebody Told Me, Mr. Brightside, All These Things I've Done and When You Were Young.
