Ljubljana panoramic tour in the Happy Johnny bus
Explore Ljubljana in a comfortable way. Take a ride in Happy Johnny (Veseli Janez), an open-topped double-decker bus, which takes you on a three-hour guided tour including most of the sights of Ljubljana.
Your guide on the bus will tell you stories related to the sights you will be passing by. Happy Johnny will take you past the Roman Wall, through Ljubljana's diplomatic quarter, past the greatest Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik's majestic Žale Cemetery and the new Stožice Stadium to Jože Plečnik's famous St. Michael's Church in the village of Črna vas at Ljubljana Marshes. From there you will contunue to Ljubljana Castle, the suburb of Trnovo, where Jože Plečnik's birthplace is located near the world's only bridge with trees growing out of it, and eventually to Tivoli Park, where your tour will end with a pleasant walk through the park and from there past the Ljubljana Museum of Modern Art and the National Gallery back to the city centre.
