LUV fest è il festival dell’amore, dell’arte e del girovagare (in sloveno Ljubezen, Umetnost e Vandranje), che si svolgerà a Lubiana dall'8 febbraio, giorno in cui si ricorda France Prešeren, il più grande poeta sloveno, fino al 12 marzo, quando gli uccelli si accoppiano.

The Slovenian Cultural Holiday will be marked by an official state ceremony including the presentation of Prešeren Prizes, the country's most prestigious cultural awards, and many other cultural events held over a period of a few days before 8 February. On Prešeren Day, there will be free admission to Ljubljana's museums and galleries, several concerts, theatre performances and film screenings, and a number of other events.

The Budapest Festival Orchestra, led by conductor Iván Fischer, promotes the formation of new music, is widely open to experiments and also to substantial works of classical music. Magazine for classical music Gramophone ranked the orchestra among the 20 best orchestras in the world in 2008.
Croatian pianist and composer Dejan Lazic performs works of classsic music with original interpretation and has reputation as one of the most unusual and unique soloists.

The spring is slightly coming and nature starts to wake up! And among first flowers which are bringing spring joy to us are certainly snowdrops. At the beginning of March, the traditional Snowdrops Festival will take place at the Ljubljana Botanical Garden. In spite of frost, white spotters of spring have already come from the ground.
