Špica - a new popular summer hangout in Ljubljana
After the addition of caffé which opened on 30 June, Špica suddenly became packed with locals and city visitors, coming for a drink or two or an evening out on the town in these hot summer days. Špica now also began hosting regular dance evenings and some other more occasional events. In the past, Špica was a town beach and Ljubljana Municipality has a plan for it to become one again.
