Lovely bars and terraces for sunny days in Ljubljana
Lovely bars and terraces for sunny days in Ljubljana Več I love it when I find a terrace with a perfect view of the city or a place where I can sip a cold drink during warmer days. Ljubljana center has plenty of bars and restaurants with lovely terraces or gardens and I’m sure you’ll find and enjoy them. Since the options in the center are so awesome, there are also some places usually missed when searching for a place for drinks and good company.

Try the unique and delicious Ljubljana cake and satisfy your sweet tooth
It’s also a part of the Taste Ljubljana project, which brings us traditional Ljubljana dishes made from local ingredients and is available in selected restaurants. I recommend taking the Taste Ljubljana food tour, where you can try many of those dishes and learn something along the way. Remember, there are many other desserts besides Ljubljana cake, be sure to check them out, however, the cake is truly my favourite.

The jury also rated the harmony of flavours, presentation and the story behind the dish. In part (or above all) because of the fantastic view and the excellent gostilna (restaurant) at the summit. It is well worth spending time here, especially on a clear day, to relax in the shelter of the little pilgrimage church and enjoy the view of Ljubljana with the river Sava, the surrounding hills and the Alps beyond.
