National Gallery
The gallery also keeps one of the largest pieces of Baroque art in Ljubljana, the Fountain of Three Carniolan Rivers by Francesco Robba, whose original site in front of the Town Hall is now occupied by its replica. Apart from the above, the National Gallery houses a room called Gal's Room, where children's and family events are held on a regular basis, an extensive library, a gallery shop with a reading corner, and a café.

The Ljubljana Castle Jazz Club This is jazz at higher altitudes. The Castle’s Rock Hall is just what the name suggests. It’s a hall with rocks sticking out from walls, floor and ceiling and has a cave-like feeling. Really cool!

Our route will take us past the Town Hall, where many Ljubljančani have pledged their eternal love, and on to Gornji trg, once an important social hub where dances and gatherings sparked countless romances.

Dragon Carnival in the streets of Ljubljana
The parade, led by Ljubljana’s green dragon and joined by numerous kindergarten and primary school groups from Ljubljana, as well as ethnological groups, drummers, and a brass band, will begin at 11 AM at Novi trg. It will continue across the Cobbler’s Bridge, past the Town Hall on Mestni trg, over the Triple Bridge and Prešeren Square, before arriving at Congress Square. There, visitors will be welcomed by a musical performance, followed by presentations by children’s carnival costumes, many of which will include short singing and dance routines prepared especially for this year.
