Alan Ford marked the pop culture of the last third of the 20th century; its satirical stylization of characters, imaginative dialogues and quality of drawing today place him among the classics, and in the jargon of urban subcultures, a kind of phraseology has been preserved, evoking the main characters of the comic.
Alan Ford expanded extensively among the readers of the Apennine and the Balkan Peninsula. He marked the generations of the 1970s and 1980s, and is still printed in all of the countries. A sarcastically sarcastic talk was translated to varying degrees of success, but in the case of the Croatian version, the general opinion holds that it is better than the original.
The exhibition marks the 50th anniversary of the Alan Ford comics and will present more than 100 original plates from the period of Magnus & Bunker.
