Clarinettist Goran Bojčevski, originally from Macedonia, embarked on his professional musical career at the Ljubljana Academy of Music. He later earned his master's degree in clarinet at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, studying under the esteemed professor Alois Brandhofer. In recognition of his exceptional contributions to culture, Bojčevski was awarded the Bronze Coat of Arms of Celje in 2018. Alongside his performance career, he is also a composer and the creator of Balkan Nuevo, a musical style that blends Balkan influences with elements of classical and jazz.

During the 73rd Ljubljana Festival, he will be joined by a talented group of young musicians, who will present a programme of ethno-jazz arrangements of folk tunes and jazz standards, as well as his original works.

Andraž Ferce is a skilled accordionist who studied at the Ljubljana Academy of Music, the Lucerne School of Music, and the Graz University of Music and Performing Arts. He frequently performs at European music festivals and collaborates with ensembles such as Klangforum Wien and the Austrian New Music Ensemble (oenm).

After completing his guitar studies at the Ljubljana Academy of Music, Matic Dolenc focused on world music and arranging. He has an ongoing collaboration with Bojčevski and performs with various other musical groups.

Jan Sever is one of Slovenia's most prominent pianists of his generation, regularly performing at both national and international festivals. His repertoire covers a broad spectrum, ranging from classical works to other genres, particularly tango.

Jaka Krušič is a member of several ensembles, regularly performing with them both at home and abroad. He is currently completing his jazz double bass studies at the Gustav Mahler Private University of Music in Klagenfurt, while also working as a music educator.

Gregor Horvat, who holds a master's degree in classical percussion, now collaborates regularly with musicians such as Uroš Perič, Maja Keuc, Omar Naber, and the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra.
