The city of Ljubljana, in collaboration with the Festival Ljubljana, is actively promoting cultural activities in the capital.

As part of the 28th International Fine Arts Colony, the city of Ljubljana and Ljubljana Festival allow eight painters – four domestic and four foreign – to intertwine the world of music, which they discover through evening concert events, with their artistic creation. This year, these artists are from France, Bulgaria, Italy, China, and Slovenia.

They will be joined by the renowned multimedia artist Lado Jakša, who will accompany them all week. At the opening of the exhibition, marking the conclusion of the art colony, he will present his artistic perspective in a music-visual presentation of their work and creative process.
