Living Literature, a literary and musical festival, has the longest tradition among numerous reading events. What sets it apart from others is its location – the street – and its fusion of literature with music.

The primary aim of the festival is to promote both domestic and international authors, young musical creators and performers, and to popularise literature.

The festival is free of charge and intended for passers-by, invited guests, and all those who find joy in street events. To further enrich the festival, they also offer book sales at symbolic prices and host discussions.

The accompanying programme Living Book (O'živela knjiga) will spark imagination and delight children and teenagers.
