Minotaur’s Corn Maze in Krtina

  • 27 Sep 2025, 09:00-20:00

    Koruzni labirint Krtina, 1233 Krtina

For the fifth year in a row, the village of Krtina near Ljubljana is home to the popular family-friendly Corn Maze Krtina. This year’s theme dives into the world of ancient Greek myths, featuring none other than the Minotaur — the half-man, half-bull creature who famously roamed a labyrinth.

Spread out over an area the size of six football fields, the Krtina Corn Maze invites you to become a true hero and follow Ariadne’s red thread through puzzling paths. Along the way, you’ll encounter mythical creatures like Medusa, Sirens, and Cyclops, meet legendary Greek heroes, and try your hand at ancient games.

There are 13 fun and educational checkpoints hidden throughout the maze, plus a few secret spots that don’t appear on the map. At the heart of the maze, a large viewing bridge offers a panoramic view of the entire labyrinth. You’ll also stumble upon Slovenia’s very first cornfield bar – perfect for a refreshment break, a sit-down, or even a game or two. Free parking, restrooms, and Wi-Fi are available on site.

Visitors who solve all the challenges and uncover the final password can enter a grand autumn prize draw.

The maze is open for daily visits, birthday parties and team-building events. And don’t miss the spooky-fun Halloween Week from 25 to 31 October 2025 – when the maze gets a frightfully fun makeover for the fourth year in a row.
