German pianist Andreas Woyke explores classical music in unconventional ways – as a soloist, chamber musician, composer, and improviser. At this concert in the (Ne)Classical series, Frédéric Chopin’s works will be performed at Kino Šiška for the first time, entering into dialogue with Woyke’s improvisations and contemporary sound language.

In the second part of the concert, Expanded Piano, Woyke will use a prepared piano, loops, and effects to create an expanded soundscape, offering a completely new perspective on classical music. Improvisation, visual elements, and the unique atmosphere of the Cathedral combine to create an immersive experience that goes beyond the traditional classical concert.

(Un)Classical – a new format, a new experience, where music interacts with space and performative interpretation.
