The first evening of the new (Ne)Klasično series features radio.string.quartet, an extraordinary ensemble from Vienna that has been pushing the boundaries of the classical string quartet since 2004. Their virtuosity and boldness have often drawn comparisons to the renowned Kronos Quartet and Turtle Island Quartet.

They will perform B:A:C:H ● like waters, a work created by violinist Bernie Mallinger during the 2020 lockdown. The Bach Sonata in G minor is reimagined for the 21st century, enriched with electronics and voice, as part of a larger project in which the quartet explores the elements of nature through music. The result is an audiovisual journey that goes beyond the limits of a traditional concert.

Audiences can expect a sonic and visual feast, where music interacts with light, space, and the unique atmosphere of the Kino Šiška Cathedral stage.
