The city of Ljubljana boasts not only an extremely rich musical history but also an incredible musical offer, which is provided by the Ljubljana Festival during the summer months.

Get to know Ljubljana as the smallest Central European capital, which has been for hundreds of years a city of outstanding musical achievements and excesses, where one of the first Academia Philharmonicorum was founded in 1701 and where world-famous conductors such as Gustav Mahler, Vaclav Talich and Fritz Reiner began their musical careers. Take a walk with us through the heart of the city, where at every turn you will be able to meet monuments that bear witness to the rich musical history of the city and, after the tour, see the superb and varied events of this year's jubilee 70th Ljubljana Festival.
