Exploring the secrets of the Mala Pasica and Velika Pasica underground caves

Descend into the depths of two karst caves and experience the underground world like a true caver.

This trip takes you on a tour of the Mala Pasica and Velika Pasica underground caves, located in the immediate vicinity of the village of Gornji Ig. In the caves, you will have an opportunity to go down the rope, climb, and crawl like a true caver, marvel at dripstones and unusual life forms, and experience true silence. Both caves offer a very special caving experience and are suitable also for children above eight years old.

Notes

  • Please make sure to wear warm clothes (under protective clothing as well), as the temperature in the cave is only 10 °C.
  • Bring hiking footwear or rubber boots, a headlamp, and spare clothes and note that they may get dirty and wet.

Optional extras

In the event that you don’t have suitable clothes or footwear, you can borrow protective clothing, boots, and a headlamp (a fee applies).

  • €3 for head torch hire

Optional extras such as additional activities or visits to additional sights are payable in cash during the trip.
