At Plečnik House you can see the architect's home exactly as it was in his lifetime and view a permanent exhibition showcasing his work. It won the prestiguous award right after the celebrations of the Plečnik's year 2017. That's another proof that the legacy of the great architect who has had a large-scale effect on Ljubljana, similar to that of Antoni Gaudí in Barcelona, remains fresh and exciting today.
The European Union's Cultural Heritage Award / Europa Nostra for 2018 will be handed out to 29 winners from 17 countries at the award ceremony, taking place on 22 June in Berlin.
Prior to this, citizens from Europe and all over the world have the opportunity to vote online for the public choice award winner.
You can vote for Plečnik's house on this website. The vote is open until 10 June.
