The meetings event of the summer is coming to Ljubljana Puppet Theatre, on 30 and 31 August. The third Conventa Crossover conference will show all its colours as a true festival of events and live marketing.

The event's idea and design are dedicated to all formats of live marketing - marketing, triggering emotional interactions between brands and buyers, and between ideas and meetings attendees. Representatives of the best event organising and live marketing agencies from all over Europe will share their experiences and suggestions all the way from event organising to guerilla and sensory marketing.

Conventa Crossover conference is organised by marketing agency Toleranca Marketing and trade show Conventa in collaboration with Ljubljana Tourism, Slovenian Tourist Board, and Ljubljana Puppet Theatre.

Conventa Crossover is a conference intended for event managers, creative heads, marketing experts, experts in event organisation, providers of meetings services, experts from companies, agencies, associations, tourist destinations, hotels, special venues, and everyone else from the region of New Europe who are closely related to event organisation and live marketing.

A bold and innovative format

Conference is bringing a creative and fresh approach, rich interaction, and diverse programme formats: lectures, workshops, PechaKucha presentations, panel discussions, elevator pitches, and other surprises. All of this undersigned with a bold and innovative measure of education, networking, culinary, party, and rock'n'roll.

Leading experts from all over Europe

This year, international and domestic experts will join: internationally acknowledged moderator Jan-Jaap In der Maur (Masters in Moderation, Netherlands); representative of a world-renowned agency Patrick Roubroeks (XSAGA, Netherlands); expert in brand marketing who created his own craft beer Michael Cowan (Brand Distillery: Mont Beer, Ireland); experts in the field of event organisation and/or live marketing Ivona Dabetić Jovović (Vision Event, Montenegro), Tatjana Kos (A1, Slovenia), Mladen Lulić (Paideia, Slovenia), Boris Kovaček (Pepermint, Croatia); internationally renowned blogger Vartan Surmejan (Event Cook, Macedonia); representatives of outstanding technological innovations for event organising Kim Ludvigsen (Interprefy, Switzerland), Alexander Kränkl (LINEAPP, Austria), and Matjaž Možina (MeetPoint, Slovenia). The happening will be additionally spiced with practical workshops of Gerrit Jessen (Event Canvas - Event Design Collective, Germany); Hannah Luffman (Unicorn Events, UK), Klara Honzikova (Socialbakers, Czech Republic), and Barbara Krajnc (LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, Slovenia).

Conventa Best Event Award

The exclusive Conventa Best Event Award for the best event of New Europe. The award's intention is to expose the events which are not just innovative and creative but also effective; those events that reach or even exceed the long-term communication, marketing, and business goals. A record number of entries are competing this year (25)! The award will combine the votes from the elite international jury and from the participants at the Crossover conference.
