Uvod

It takes only half an hour's drive from Ljubljana to reach the Technical Museum of Slovenia, which is located in a castle surrounded by a beautiful park and river. The content of the tour is adapted to the visitors’ requirements.
Various demonstrations and workshops can be arranged for visitors through which they can be introduced to old techniques and methods of working with the tools and machinery that our ancestors used in their everyday working lives. These include old ways of spinning and weaving, horseshoe forging, hand typesetting, straw hat making, bread baking in a traditional earthen oven, basket weaving, hand making toothpick, demonstration of inventor and scientist Nikola Tesla’s experiments, etc. A collection of the late Marshal Tito's cars is a special attraction.

Visitors can hire classic cars and take a ride around the park. Catering services can also be provided in the Museum’s park or halls, or in the nearby restaurant.
