The Budnar House Museum shows visitors what life at rural homesteads was like three hundred years ago. It includes a farmhouse, an outbuilding and a traditional Slovenian "kozolec" wooden rack used for drying and storing hay. Traditional farmhouse fare prepared in a "black kitchen" with an open fire is available for tasting by prior appointment. Occasionally, the Budnar House Museum hosts ethnographic events, mainly traditional arts and crafts presentations and demonstrations.
