GR – Ljubljana Exhibition and Convention Centre is Slovenia’s leading event venue, featuring 20 multifunctional halls covering a total of 12,323 m² of indoor space and an additional 8,844 m² of outdoor exhibition area.
The venue’s versatile function rooms can accommodate everything from small meetings of 15 participants to large-scale events with up to 6,000 delegates. The largest hall offers seating for around 2,200 guests in theatre style, or 1,200 for banquets. In addition to the three largest halls, the centre offers a range of conference rooms of various sizes, with capacities from 15 up to 500 seats.
All halls and function spaces are suitable for exhibitions, conferences, and other events of all kinds.
GR is an example of modern functionalist architecture and underwent a complete renovation between 2001 and 2008. In November 2012, a new entrance hall was opened. The iconic Jurček pavilion, dating back to the 1960s, has been transformed into a modern reception area suitable as an entry point or congress registration zone.
The entire venue is equipped with state-of-the-art technical systems. Most function rooms feature natural daylight, with the option of full darkening. Thanks to its flexibility and professional team, GR hosts over 200 national and international events per year, attracting around 500,000 visitors annually.
