I often decide to visit not just for the food, but because I can also meet the chefs, since otherwise I don't have the time or opportunity to socialise like that. For an authentic Slovenian experience, the first choice for Sunday lunch is certainly Mihovec, there is always good homemade food, and during the week I like to visit Gostilna Pri stričku for a traditional lunch.

Ljubljana Convention Bureau hosted a fam trip for the European meeting organizers

They visited the city’s Central market, where they tasted the local cheese selection, and, with the help of vendors at the flower market, created their very own dried flowers bouquets. In the Union Brewery, they attended the guided tour which took them through 150 years of history of brewing in Ljubljana, and the development of the Union brand. They also enjoyed a culinary experience of the local brewing tradition.
