This year’s new features include the newly decorated street connection from Vodnik Square, Poljanska Cesta and Prekmurski Park towards the renovated Cukrarna (a former sugar refinery, now art gallery). Trees lining the River Ljubljanica embankments will be linked up with a long chain of lighting. On 26 November at 10:00 am, fair kiosks will begin selling assorted gifts, food and drinks.

Ljubljana Lights Up for the Holiday Season
Nicholas, Grandpa Frost, and the Ice Queen, performances by barrel-organ players, street theatre shows, guided tours, and panoramic boat rides along the festively decorated Ljubljanica River. Five venues will also host a varied concert programme featuring domestic and international musicians. Ljubljana's festive lights switch-on event The holiday lights will traditionally be switched on the Friday before the first Advent Sunday, this year on 28 November at 5 p.m.

Cycling Through Summer
