Cycling to the source of the river Kamniška Bistrica
You will continue past Ljubljana and the small town of Kamnik all the way to the foot of the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, where you will stop to view a famous hunting lodge designed by the architect Jože Plečnik and the Predoselj gorge. Afterward, bathing at Terme Snovik or a visit to a shepherds' village on Velika Planina is available as optional extras.

Ljubljana Receives the Silver Hospitality Award
Highlights presented by Ljubljana included the revitalization of the Center Rog and its surroundings, investment projects at Ljubljana Castle (Kazemate, restoration of the entrance bridge, and revitalization of the defensive moat), the renovation of Plečnik's Auditorium and the Waterworks Bridge, and the acquisition of a second Urban electric train. Additionally, they demonstrated activities focusing on the digitalization of tourism services and improving accessibility for individuals with disabilities.

Dragon Bridge
The decorative elements—including the dragons, balustrades, concrete cladding, and once gas-powered lamps—were designed by Dalmatian architect Jurij Zaninović, a student of the celebrated Viennese architect Otto Wagner, who also mentored Ljubljana’s own Jože Plečnik. © Dunja Wedam The Dragon Bridge replaced the old wooden Butchers’ Bridge, which had stood on the site since 1819.
