Exhibitions by the UL ALUO on the work of biologist and geneticist Paul Nurse, and on design for an inclusive society

The University of Ljubljana Gallery will host the opening of the exhibition Paul Nurse: What is Life?, featuring scientific and imaginative illustrations created by students of UL ALUO. The exhibition is part of the Food for Thought Festival, which this year focuses on the theme of biodiversity.

At the same time, an exhibition titled UL ALUO – Illustrating the Invisible: Design for an Inclusive Society – Marine Organisms for People with Visual Impairments will be on view on posters in front of the University of Ljubljana Rectorate. It highlights the importance of inclusive visual communication.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on 13 May between 17:00 and 18:30, and it will remain on view until 9 June 2025. During the exhibition period, the UL Gallery is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 16:00 to 20:00.
