Intermedia artist Marko Batista is known for his experimental audio-visual performances and installations that explore the intersections of technology and art.

The exhibition immerses the visitor in a dystopian world where technology is no longer merely a tool, but becomes an active agent in the search for understanding new realities. Through a range of custom-built devices and spatial audio systems, Batista creates an immersive environment that places the visitor at the centre of technological transformation.

The exhibition At the Edge of Reason reflects the instability and rapid changes of the present moment, in which the rise of supercomputers and artificial intelligence is beginning to fundamentally reshape the structure of contemporary society. It explores a zone where human thought processes are increasingly intertwined with – or even replaced by – algorithms, data, and machine logic. The exhibition reflects on how these technological shifts influence our perception of reality, at a time when the boundaries between reality, perception, and simulation are becoming ever more blurred.

You are warmly invited to the exhibition opening on Thursday, September 11, at 19.00!
