Discover the secrets of filigree, an ancient technique that has been with us since the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia and Egypt.

Biljana Klekachkoska, who holds a master's degree in art from the prestigious school in Idar-Oberstein and is a pioneer in reviving this craft in the Balkans, will give a live demonstration of the process of joining extremely thin wires into lace-like patterns.

The event includes a live broadcast of her work on a large screen, giving you an insight into the microscopic precision of this art. Biljana will also share her experiences from her research into Byzantine technologies in Athens.
