Its extensive recording catalogue comprises a wide range of music and has earned the choir two BBC Music Magazine Awards, an Edison Classical Music Award and a Grammy nomination.

A jewel in the crown of British cultural life for over two decades, Tenebrae has been pursuing the vision outlined by its founder and artistic director Nigel Short, a former member of the celebrated vocal ensemble The King's Singers: to sing with the passion of cathedral choirs and the precision of chamber choirs.
