Strelec Restaurant

The chef and co-owner of one of Ljubljana's most prestigious restaurants, which also boasts a Michelin star. His style is defined by curiosity and insight combined with precision and prudence – with these virtues, he masterfully brings out a wide range of diverse sensory impressions from each ingredient. He enjoys combining classical foundations with modern preparation methods, extracting the maximum flavor from mostly seasonal, fresh, local, and organic ingredients, which play a central role in his dishes. He also gladly and responsibly shares his exceptional knowledge with the young generation of Slovenian chefs, who often get their first glimpse into the vast world of haute cuisine at his restaurant.

    We recently visited the chef and co-owner of Restaurant Strelec, Igor Jagodic, in the Archer’s tower at Ljubljana Castle.
