He started his musical studies with lessons in singing and conducting and at the age of fifteen, he decided to play the piano. Arcadi Volodos has performed throughout the world in recital and with the most eminent orchestras, such as Berlin, New York, Munich and Israel Philharmonic Orchestras, the London Philharmonia Orchestra, the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, the Dresden Staatskapelle, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Zurich Tonhalle Orchestra, and the Boston and Chicago Symphony Orchestras.
