Discover Bled, one of the most iconic and picturesque destinations in the world. This journey offers the perfect combination of pristine nature, thousand-year-old history, and traditional Slovenian hospitality.

Join us on an unforgettable journey into the heart of the Julian Alps to experience one of Slovenia’s most iconic treasure, Lake Bled. This Alpine gem, with its emerald waters and postcard-perfect scenery, has been enchanting travelers for centuries.

The Guardian of the Lake: Bled Castle

Our adventure begins at the majestic Bled Castle. Perched on a steep cliff 130 meters above the water, it is the oldest castle in Slovenia, with roots stretching back to 1011. Walking its ancient ramparts, you’ll be treated to a breathtaking 360-degree panorama of the lake, the island, and the snow-capped peaks of the Alps - the ultimate backdrop for world-class photography and a deep dive into medieval history.

Tradition on the Water: The Pletna Experience

Descending to the lakeshore, we’ll board a Pletna, a traditional, hand-crafted wooden boat unique to this region since the 16th century. Rowed by experienced local "Pletnarji," this peaceful crossing brings us to the famous Bled Island.

  • The Island Church: Climb the 99 stone steps to the Church of the Mother of God on the Lake.
  • The Wishing Bell: Don't miss the chance to ring the legendary "wishing bell." Local folklore says that those who ring it will see their secret desires come true.

Capturing the Perfect View: Ojstrica Hike

For those seeking the "million-dollar shot," weather permitting, we’ll take a short hike up to Ojstrica. This viewpoint offers the most famous perspective of the island - the very one you’ve likely seen on travel magazine covers and across social media.

A Sweet Conclusion

We’ll wrap up the day with free time for a leisurely stroll along the lakeside promenade. Before we depart, treat yourself to the ultimate local delicacy: the Bled Cream Cake (kremšnita). This iconic, golden-crusted pastry is the perfect sweet finale to a day spent in a mountain paradise.

Whether you are a history enthusiast or simply in search of Europe’s most magical views, Lake Bled is a destination that stays with you forever. Come and let this Alpine pearl capture your heart.
