Tour of Slovenia 2017 - road cycling race
Among others, it's attended by the cycling world heavyweights including Mark Cavendish and Rafał Majka. The local Slovenian favorite is Jan Polanc. Its second stage starts Friday 16 June in Ljubljana. The race will commence at 10:55 in front of the Tivoli sports hall.

Križanke Church (Church of Our Lady of Mercy)
The present Križanke Church was built between 1714 and 1715 by Domenico Rossi, one of the leading Venetian architects of the time. This indicates that the only church of the cross located on Slovenian territory was of great importance not only to the Knights of the Cross but also to the imperial court in Vienna, which donated interior furnishings.

Metelkova mesto – Autonomous Cultural Centre
The buildings, once Austro-Hungarian military barracks built in the late 19th century, have since been transformed through interventions by numerous well-known and lesser-known contemporary Slovenian artists. In keeping with its fairly free and open creative spirit, Metelkova is a space in constant transformation. AKC Metelkova Mesto is home to a number of music clubs that regularly host concerts by alternative music performers from around the world, club nights, DJ sets, and more.

Rožnik hill
A little down the hill from the church, the Pri Matiji inn was opened in the early 19th century. Occasionally, the inn provided accommodation to the greatest Slovenian writer of all time, Ivan Cankar (1876-1918). The building opposite the inn now houses the Ivan Cankar Memorial Room. A Cankar monument sculpted by Frančišek Smerdu was erected on the hilltop, which was named Cankarjev vrh in the writer's honour.

Hiking in the Ljubljana region
As a basis for the implementation of the workshops, we took personas of Slovenian tourism and, via them, identified an “important guest”, a “favourite guest” and a “future guest” for our hiking product. For each of them, we designed an “ideal day” in the region with an emphasis on hiking.
