Exhibition of tropical butterflies
Before the final moult, they encase themselves in a protective layer—a cocoon—and pupate. At the far end of the glasshouse, chrysalises are placed from which beautiful young butterflies emerge. They feed on grapefruit juice and feast on fragrant flowers.
