Križanke Summer Theatre

The theatre is outfitted with a large sliding roof that allows performances to run undisturbed even in the case of bad weather.  A distinctive feature of the Entrance Hall (open-air) is the sgrafitto decoration on the walls, which were adorned with bas-relief figurines that originate from the Czech medieval art.

Union Brewery Pub

Pivnica Union is a pub run by Ljubljana's Pivovarna Union brewery, where beer has been brewed since 1867. The much-anticipated opening of the pub took place on the 150th anniversary of the brewery's foundation. Pivnica Union offers a wide choice of house-made beers as well as a number of those brewed by the Pivovarna Laško brewery.

Galerija Emporium

The building's entrance is enhanced by a semicircular canopy in the shape of a flat open, fan-like petal cluster made from glass and wrought iron. On top of the building, above the front façade, there is a neo-Baroque statue of Mercury, the god of commerce and protector of merchants.

Grand Hotel Union - renowned, luxurious, historic

Built in the Secessionist style, it was completed very quickly, in 18 months. The opening took place on October 28, 1905, and the opening ceremony lasted for seven days. According to contemporary newspapers, it was one of the largest, most modern, and most complete hotels in this part of Europe.
