    Guided tour of the exhibition: Ljubljana. History. City

    Love is not one thing. Love has many forms. Nourish your love for new discoveries in a guided tour that takes you through thousands of years of Ljubljana’s history and people, with tales of those who surrendered to their love for nature, committed themselves to romantic or family love, nurtured a love of science and art, and fought in the name of love for freedom. The tour takes place at the City Museum of Ljubljana.

    Children’s art workshops: Making St Gregory lanterns

    The Slovenian Ethnographic Museum (SEM) and the University of Ljubljana Botanic Garden are holding free workshops on 4 March at 11 AM and 10 March at 5 PM, respectively, where children from 5 years up, and younger children accompanied by parents, can make lanterns for St Gregory’s Day. You can also join in!

    Rudolf Cvetko and the Code of love

    Rudolf Cvetko was a captain in the Austro-Hungarian Army, and the first Slovenian to win an Olympic medal for fencing. Renny Rovšnik’s lecture about Cvetko’s coded correspondence with his sweetheart and wife-to-be Marija will reveal an entirely different side to this intriguing figure, showing him as both an emotional and loving man, and a dedicated officer and gentleman.
