The Biotechnical Faculty is located in the Biotechnical Campus, set only a few minutes’ drive from the downtown area and the ring road in the north-west of Ljubljana. It can also be reached by public transport and has its own parking lot. The Faculty is organised in seven departments housed in five different buildings. Out of these, four are in Ljubljana and one is 15 km away, near Domžale.
The larges facilities that can be used for meetings are located at 101, Jamnikarjeva Str. Not far away, the buildings of the Department of Biology, the Department of Forestry and Department of Wood Science and Technology are within walking distance from the Student Campus and neighbour the Zoo as well as the wooded slopes of Rožnik Hill. All lecture rooms are equipped with computers and LCD projectors.
