Ljubljana among the Covid-19 Safest Christmas Destinations
This year, the evaluation process had to be adjusted to take into account Covid-19 measures and circumstances according to each country, and European Best Destinations made a carefully selected list of destinations where it will be possible to enjoy the Christmas fairytale while still following strict health and sanitary rules. Ljubljana (and Slovenia) was placed on the Safest Christmas Destinations list. EBD points out that with 12 times fewer severe cases of Covid-19 per million inhabitants than the most affected countries in Europe, Slovenia is positioned as one of the safest destinations this winter.
