Grand Hotel Union - renowned, luxurious, historic
Over ninety years later, this is the only hotel in Ljubljana that still preserves the unique Slovenian and European culinary tradition of the Slanik Feast. Chefs reportedly decided to include mainly smoked, dried, and marinated fish in their Slanik Feast recipes because fresh fish used to be expensive.

Church of St. Michael

The Podpeč lake
Popular hiking point In summer time, there is a small bathing site arranged at the lake. There is also a pleasant restaurant with delicious Slovenian dishes. Fishing is also permitted. Fishermen can catch large carp, pike, chub, tench, bass and bighead carps. You can also fish in winter, since the lake is rarely covered with ice.
