It houses a collection of exhibits relating to spoken, musical, dance, and puppet theatre, scenic and costume design, and theatre architecture. Visitors to the museum can also acquaint themselves with the most prominent figures in the world of theatre. The museum's collections feature photographs, theatre programmes, posters, letters, manuscripts, books, periodicals, newspaper clippings, audio and video footage, set design and costume sketches, and (to a lesser extent) costumes, set design models, and other objects related to theatre.
