Ljubljana and Central Slovenia at EXPO Milano 2015

Ljubljana and the region of Central Slovenia will be presenting themselves in the Slovenian pavillion at EXPO Milano 2015. Throughout the duration of EXPO, from 1 May to 31 October, all the relevant information as well as short break options will be available to you there. From 15 to 30 June Ljubljana and its region will also hold a series of presentations of their culinary and sustainable tourism offer.

Slovenia will be participating in EXPO Milano 2015 under the slogan "I feel sLOVEnia, Green. Active. Healthy." Visitors will be guided through five themes: salt, bees, thermal and mineral waters, active lifestyle and green technologies.

Ljubljana and the Central Slovenia Region represent the message of the slogan quite literally, with a lifestyle that's both in harmony with nature and sustainable. Ljubljana just won the Tourism for Tomorrow Destination Award for 2015 and is also the European Green Capital 2016.
