Ljubljana is the European Best Destination 2022

Ljubljana won with the highest number of votes outside its borders since the creation of the competition in 2009. 

We would like to thank all those who voted for Ljubljana in Slovenia and all around the globe for the immense support (over 75,000! votes). We are really proud that our city's comittment to sustainable tourism development, social cohesion and quality of life is internationally recognized, and that travellers from all over the globe consider Ljubljana a one-of-a-kind destination also for its cultural offer, shopping, gastronomy, nature, and more.
