Accommodation in Ljubljana
Ljubljana provides a wide range of accommodation facilities. The city currently offers 3,595 hotel rooms, most of them in 4* and 3* properties.
Many hotels are centrally located (totalling to nearly 2.200 rooms in the 3- to 5.star range) and are either within walking distance or up to 3 km from the picturesque Old Town, the key institutions or the larger congress venues in the city. All the main hotels as well as the majority of other properties have been fully refurbished or built anew over the last decade.
An investment cycle in the hotel sector is underway, with new properties in the downtown area opening in 2023, and more being announced till 2025.
Note: Ljubljana also has a quality choice of bed & breakfast properties, well-rated youth hostels and approx. 1.750 Airbnb units, many of which are found in the downtown area.
