Head north-west from the centre of Ljubljana, cycle past Tivoli Park and follow Celovška Cesta out of the city. Continue along the foot of the Polhov Gradec Hills and join the Sava at Medno. At the confluence of the Sava and the Sora, at the point where the Sorica Plain meets the Ljubljana Basin, you will reach Medvode, the “green gateway” to Ljubljana.
