Green Supply Chains
We began the project in 2015 with the goal to increase the share of food and drink made with locally produced ingredients that are offered to tourists visiting Ljubljana. The idea was to connect the city’s green hinterland, in which more than 800 farms supply the capital with their produce, with tourism providers in the city itself.

Archaeological park Emona
A Brief History of EmonaBy 14 AD, the Roman colony of Julian Emona (Colonia Iulia Aemona) already stood on the site of present-day Ljubljana's city centre. This is evidenced by an inscription referring to a donation granted to the city by Emperors Augustus and Tiberius. Thanks to its strategic location, Emona played an important role in the defensive system of the Roman Empire and flourished from the 1st to the 5th century AD.
