Shopping centres in Ljubljana
The largest shopping centres, however, are located on the outskirts of the city. Most of the city centre shops are open from 8:00 to 19:00 on weekdays and from 8:00 to 13:00 on Saturdays. Suburban shopping centres are open from morning to evening on weekdays and Saturdays except for public holidays.

Ljubljana–Kamnik
Kamnik is also an excellent starting point for various hiking trips to the surrounding peaks. The most famous of them is the high-mountain plateau of Velika Planina, where the Alpine herdsmen take their cows each summer.
