Trnovski pristan Embankment
Location The Trnovski pristan embankment stretches across the riverside area between the Prule Bridge and the point where the Gradaščica channel empties into the river Ljubljanica. In the past it was used for unloading the boats carrying stone from the Podpeč Quarry, intended for the construction of buildings in Ljubljana.

Kamniška Bistrica Valley
The trail departs from the village of Zgornje Stranje, next to the bridge crossing the river Kamniška Bistrica, and ends next to the Planinski dom alpine hut, where the Kamniška Bistrica has its source. It leads along a scenic route above the river, through the Mali Predaselj and Veliki Predaselj gorges, and takes three hours to complete.

Ljubljana–Litija
Continue through the outskirts of Ljubljana to the point where the Ljubljanica flows into the Sava and then follow the river from here all the way to Litija. The route, which is actually just a small section of a long-distance cycling route, takes you through a series of little riverside villages, with the river on one side and forested hills on the other.

From each of the side bridges, two stairways lead to terraces situated just above the river, where poplar trees were planted to contribute to the overall appearance of the Bridge. © Dunja Wedam On the right bank of the river, the Bridge is enhanced by a small flower shop connected to the Ljubljana Central Market colonnade, and on the left bank by a kiosk.
