Rožnik (Cankar’s peak - 394 m)

Part of the Tivoli, Rožnik and Šiška Hill Nature Park, its position in the heart of the capital makes it a unique example of symbiosis of nature and the city. This tree-covered hill above Tivoli Park – Ljubljana’s largest park – is crisscrossed by macadam roads, paths and tracks, which lead most visitors to the most popular spot: Cankar’s Peak (Rožnik’s highest peak is actually Šiška Hill, 429 m).

Bike park Lubiana Golovec trails (ŠD Golovec trails) Trail park in the southern part of Ljubljana with a large network of trails in the immediate vicinity of the city centre. You can also fill your water bottles from the drinking fountain before you start cycling. As you leave the village and then the forest out of Ljubljana’s city limits, you will see a vast marsh plain with meadows and fields and forest edges, with Mount Krim, the "southern guardian of the marshes", looming overhead, and the views disappearing into the darkness of the forests of the Krim foothills.
