Ljubljana won the WTTC Tourism for Tomorrow Destination Award

New projects: Gallery and special event venue 'Cukrarna'
With the revamping of this massive empty industrial building that will provide an eclectic space for standing receptions for up to 1,000 delegates, the city will get a new special venue and a gallery of over 2,500 square metres. It will be the biggest exhibition space suitable for more demanding Slovenian and foreign art exhibition projects, as well as for other events in the field of culture, the arts and education.

Culinary festival November Gourmet Ljubljana
At the same time, the purpose of the festival is to connect the selected restaurants that are part of Taste Ljubljana project, and bring their culinary offer closer to Ljubljana residents – so that the locals can become the first and most important ambassadors of our city's tourist offer. The four key events of the month will be two editions of Ljubljana Wine Route (Nov 4 and Nov 11), the Slovenian Wine and Culinary Festival (November 17 and 18), and the final event November Gourmet Finale that will take place on Friday, November 24 at the City of Design venue in Ljubljana.

Trail parks
Bike park Ljubljana Golovec trails (ŠD Golovec trails) Trail park in the southern part of Ljubljana with a large network of trails in the immediate vicinity of the city centre. You can find downhill runs of varying difficulty, from easier single tracks, i.e. flow trails, to trails with bigger jumps and steep, more technical enduro trails.

Rožnik (Cankar’s peak - 394 m)
Part of the Tivoli, Rožnik and Šiška Hill Nature Park, its position in the heart of the capital makes it a unique example of symbiosis of nature and the city. This tree-covered hill above Tivoli Park – Ljubljana’s largest park – is crisscrossed by macadam roads, paths and tracks, which lead most visitors to the most popular spot: Cankar’s Peak (Rožnik’s highest peak is actually Šiška Hill, 429 m).
