The 200th anniversary of the Congress of Ljubljana
They were joined by approximately 500 ministers and representatives of France, Great Britain, Prussia and the individual Italian states. The city that had at the time approximately 20,000 residents was constantly patrolled by almost 300 soldiers in the city centre alone. There were 630 business envoys and merchants from all over Europe and even as far as Rio de Janeiro.

How did LUV Fest come about?
The aim of the festival is thus to position Ljubljana as a destination that should also be visited in February and March, and to create a livelier mood in the city for its residents, too. Throughout this period, both locals and visitors can enjoy the city’s special decorations, experience unique stories about Ljubljana in guided tours, create unforgettable memories by taking pictures at selected locations, enjoy the concerts, exhibitions and other cultural events on offer, engage in creative workshops, indulge in culinary masterpieces, and much more besides.
