Grand Hotel Union - renowned, luxurious, historic
Beginnings and Construction In 1904, under the guidance of the esteemed Croatian architect Josip Vancaš, construction began on the first city hotel and the largest post-earthquake urban building in Ljubljana, measuring almost 100 meters in length. Built in the Secessionist style, it was completed very quickly, in 18 months.
