Additionally, they spent some time at a special venue Dvor Jezeršek outside Ljubljana, in the region of Central Slovenia, where they baked the traditional and most famous Slovenia pastry - potica and its smaller version, LePotička.

What surprised them the most were our sustainability initiatives, short distances, green nature and great value for money that Slovenia offers. They listened enthusiastically about the underworld (and were particularly intrigued by caves as natural phenomena as well as special venues with potential for hosting different events and even gala dinners).

    More than 30 drinking fountains provide free-of-charge refreshment during the warmer months. Among other most prominent “green” sights of Ljubljana are the vast Tivoli Park in the city centre and the unique recreational Trail of Remembrance and Comradeship encircling the city with its 7,000 trees.
